Wordpress - core.xxxx dumps files in root ?

Hi

I am finding many many core.2349 and core.2359 and so on files in installation of my wordpress , its running latest  version wordpress but I a have no idea what those files means where they came from . They were more than 50 mb in size each. I deleted them and they are being created again and again.

If your script crashes unexpectedly then core dump files are created with report.  May be there is some misconfiguration in server or sudden restart of web server etc. Also what is the error in your core-dump files, can you share ?
