What is best guide to learn MDB2 pear Database abstraction layer ?

I am looking to learn about MDB2 as it allows you to have greater portability but I have never used it before, now looking for a best guide to learn it. Should be easy and to the point.

If you are good with sql then start learning MDB2. MDB2 comes with very good guide. Please look at their own website , http://pear.php.net/package/MDB2/docs is best place and most comprehensive. No where else to look !
