Dropmenu not working in internet explorer 6 ?

Sir, I am working on smf theme in which m just doing editing with it's css file but when change the place of menu from middle to top its dropmenu is not working. It works properly in mozilla firefox but not in explorer 6. I just do some little bit changes in the index file of it. So, can you please help tell me how can i solve this problem ?

There are many factors, it can be simply the "position" property , since you changed the location, you should see in position property first.

first off IE6 is WAY out of date.  update IE to the current version and see how it is.
