What is difference between MySQL and SQL?
« on: October 19, 2012, 01:10:03 AM »
So, recently I've felt a lot need of MySQL/SQL knowledge in my further works, I've hard time installing it and making it work the way I want it to. Attended numerous tutorials but haven't got clarification yet. Is there anyone good at MySQL and SQL explain me their features and difference please.

Thanks.

SQL is stand for  Structured Query Language, and MySQL is a database management system, like SQL Server 2005, Oracle.
MySQL can be used as the back engine database for several kinds of applications and it's one of the best choice for many web programmers for web-base application.

Your answer is more complicated, I am sorry but how would you explain to a newbie?
