What is Winsxs In Window Folder in Window7

HI,
      I want to remove some files from my window folder in window7
     I found a folder WINSXS in that i never seen before this folder in my window directory
    can i remove this folder from my window directory or it will some bad effect for my pc please suggest me

Hi Rahul,
                 There in window7 or in window vista Winsxs contain most important dynamic link library (DLL) is a collection of small programs, which can be called upon when needed by the executable program (EXE) that is running.
                So as per my point of view you have no need to delete that folder
                Winsxs stands for window side by side....
