« on: October 02, 2012, 01:13:42 AM »
Suppose, I indexed the my website on Google and the information comes up and all things goes successful. And I then modify some information of my website in the title or body content, will it automatically update on Google or I have to re-index the entire thing? how do I reset it in case?

Hope title is good.

Google automatically updates changes in your pages. If your site is active then it will do it more often and if its new then it may take some time.

And this time "Title is good " :)

Couple of questions has arisen while reading through your message, have added them below in unordered list.

  • How website could be active? By updating it regularly? acquiring more visits?
  • If even website is not active enough, how long does it probably take to update the results?
  • Do we have to update the sitemap each time when a update on website occurs?
  • Would anyone suggest a prodigious website for sitemap generating?

Thats not hard , when there is new content more often on  a website, google visit it more regularly, if there a website where there are tonnes of visitors but no new contents for month, google then visit it less frequently. However using xml sitemap you can tell google to how often check for new content .
Generally its better to create sitemap on your own site by coding it, wordpress has plugin for sitemap, smf has plugin / mod for sitemap and so do other softwares.

I've had indexed my page to Google but afterwards I thought to remove them because they also linked my personal stuff. I removed the sitemap from the Web Master Tools; removed my website from there but it is still showing on Google, what am I doing wrong? Someone Explain?  :-\

Hi

I think you should wait for sometime. Also, you can only remove urls one by one from google webmaster tools.

I wanted for long time, and I've removed my URl though; so there is not any problem with removing the from Web Master Tools, but the removal from Google.
