Professional New Year Theme for SMF forums - Celebrating Year 2012

A professional sleek theme specially designed for the celebration of new year. This theme comes with some feature enhancement including a nice feature of floating balloons at top of your forum. Thus giving your theme a new twist and making your new year celebrations even more colorful. Balloons expands and move their places on each page load , thus giving a floating balloon feel. However, you can also disable balloons completely from the admin area under theme settings. See screenshot for various positions of balloons in header.

This theme also lets you to specify custom logo link url , helpful if your site's homepage is not same as forum homepage. Other than that, you can also add your own copyright in footer area through Admin menu. In case you want to retain happy new year logo, you can simply enable forum name below admin menu so that it also shows your forum / sitename along with "Happy New Year" wishes to your visitors.

You can change theme features at :
SMF Admin --> Configuration --> Current Theme
(Assuming that Design Happy New Year has been selected as overall SMF theme on your forum).

Hi Dilip, you can simply disable Balloon and also can disable "Happy New year" from control panel and keep using it even after new year .

Thanks Ricky. Just wondering how to customize the colour and all. I am a bit inclined to bluish shades and the images without dots / texture. My net is not good at the moment, will be a regular once it gets fine from next week.

That may include some work as you need to change graphics / make new graphics . If you want I can do that for you.

I am using this theme, i am also using the SA Facebook intrigration, this makes the login box at the top left bigger then usual, can i make that box bigger so that there is no slider thing making it look ugly?

Also, i noticed the search bar looks a little funny, (it doesn't fit in the bubble) can we fix this too?

You can move SA FB login button somewhere else so that it won't disturb layout of the theme.

I was looking into FBconnect mod, looks like they are not doing direct theme changes, I think its better to ask in support thread of that mod to know how to change location of "FBconnect" button.

We don't want to make box bigger, it may break other things. If I get time, I will install that mod on a test site to see what can be done !
