Why and where do we use the terms © and ®.
« on: October 16, 2012, 12:31:54 AM »
I am diluted as other web designers and had learned a lot of things this week, but unfortunately the fundamental stuff are passing above my head with no understanding. I am curious to know what are those above terms and where are thy used? I need a wider interpretation but should be apt.

Thanks.

First is for copyright and second is for registered.. using them is simple, if you create anything yourself, by international laws, it is automatically your "copyright" , you use copyright symbol with it.  And if you have gone to some registrar to get your design / patter or company name etc registered and you have proof of registration then you can use that registered sign.
