CSS:How do I stretch background to fit any resolution Monitor?

I want to use an image as background in my page, I am using html, but one of my monitor is too big, it is tiling and creating bad effect. Is there any property that instead of tiling it, it should stretch as per monitor resolution. How is that possible ?
