Title: Turn OFF Word Censoring on Topics only / Message Index : MOD

Description
This simple Administrative enhancement allows you to have selective word censoring. It means, if you have enabled SMF's default word censoring feature then it gives you ability to disable word censoring feature on certain area like Message Index or only on Page title for Topic page or disable it only posts contents but not on titles etc.

Usage Suggestion
It can be very useful if you want to replace words with some link or content which may not look good on page title or message index. This way word censoring will work on posts but will not work where it may break layout.

Installation
Simply install it via package manager and use it after modifying Adminstration settings.

There is no option in this MOD to ignore censored word on Board Index, however once I get time I will try to add it !

Also, I am very much here in this board, only thing is currently this board is kinda dull but hopefully will be active one soon.

Although, when I install it (wich was succesfull) I don't see any information in my "Modification Settings". What did I do wrong?

then I interpreted it so wrong.

I was looking for a MOD that was NOT showing the changed censored words in TOPICS. Because I change all kind of words into automatic links for affiliate business (thats the only way I can make a small dime out of the hostingcosts).

Aren't you seeing settings under : Admin --> Configuration --> Miscellaneous to disable links on certain places as you can see in screenshot I have attached ?

Post by: alleentest on September 11, 2011, 01:41:47 PM: nope I can't see anything there. It seems to be completely empty. Although, when I installed the MOD it gave me a 'succeeded' and nothing seems to be wrong.

and this is the Managesettings.php file. (in dutch and english) but I use English as my default for testing background (site is in beta still).

Looks like its not installed at all. Can you show me screen while installing MOD when it shows test ?
Also make sure under package manager, file permission are set to write to all, after installing, change it to restricted.

Post by: alleentest on September 14, 2011, 07:36:43 PM: Ok. It was quite weird, but after 2 times uninstalling and reinstalling finally it seemed to work. I did not change anything and the third time when it worked and it redirected me to the modification page it only showed 4 blank checkboxes (but did recognize them from your savedscreen). I uninstalled the software again and after the 4th time it finally worked! I really don't know what made the difference, but I'm happy :)

Then I have 2 things:

1- As someone mentioned earlier, the censored word (wich in my case is transformed into a link) does look on the MAIN page like this : <a href= " ... blabla " (you can view on www.forexaffiliate.nl - this is my testsite - the real one is on another adress) so I really looking forward to the update where you also can unlock it at the main screen
2- My real site is not in english, but in dutch. Can I run the software on the same way I did? Or do I have to do a lot of different things to get it get worked? I'm not real experienced with SimpleMachine but I'm not a real noob either. So I do understand the .php files and CAN edit them if it's necessary)

Thank you so far for your help, although - reinstalling 4 times seemed to be the clue so far :)
